Yesterday I was driving back from my lake house through the rain and fog. I was listening to one of my customized mixes on Spotify and out of now where the perfect song began to play. “Nightcall” by Lovefoxxx and Kavinsky began to play and my heart began to pound.
This song speaks to me and romanticizes night-time and rainy drives. By dimming everyday noise and giving me a sense of being, this song takes the listener into their own sentimental story of adventure. Classic 90s synths and beautiful vocals transport my drive home into an adventure.
